It uses Android's VPN API as a local firewall, not a remote anonymity VPN. Allowed apps bypass the tunnel. Blocked apps stay in the tunnel and their packets are discarded on your device. It does not hide your public IP or encrypt traffic to a remote provider.
Yes. Firewall features are free, including unlimited block lists, presets, and schedules. There is no premium tier for firewall controls.
Yes. Separate block lists let you allow an app on Wi-Fi while blocking it on mobile data, or the other way around.
No. Blocking does not require Accessibility. The optional Accessibility feature only detects when a blocked app comes to the foreground so Net Pilot can notify you. It does not read screen content and is not an assistive tool for disabilities.
An account is optional and syncs settings only. Block lists, presets, schedules, and traffic deltas stay on your device by default. Deleting your account removes the cloud copy when deletion succeeds.
